Scabies is a common dermatitis, which can affect an entire family. Generally respected head and neck.

What causes it?

This caused by a parasite (mite) skin Sarcoptes scabiei. The mite is just the naked eye as a white dot. This condition is usually acquired by sleeping with an infested individual, patient by contaminated clothing or other close contact. The infestation is found worldwide and occurs in places where overcrowding, promiscuity and poor hygiene, being the ideal locations for development internships, barracks, prisons, and so on. Inflammatory skin reaction that occurs when in contact with irritating substances contained in plants, hair dyes, cosmetics, deodorants, perfumes, soaps, detergents, synthetic fibers, hair removal products, metal jewelry, as well as action of a drug or food.

It is considered a chronic disease characterized by periodic redness, blisters, dryness, flaking and itching difficult to control. It also causes the skin susceptible to fungal infections.
